Hello everyone,
My clients love their photos. Many still take them using very nice DSLR and/or Point and Shoot Cameras. They buy and use many SD cards. Herein lies a potential problem:
There are a lot of fake/phony/counterfeit SD cards out there. Here are two tools (one for Mac and one for Windows) that will allow you to verify that your memory cards are legit. Both tools are great!
1) Mac: f3-Fight Flash Fraud
2) Windows: H2testw
Conclusion:
A) Only buy cards that you can return if needed (from a store that has a good return policy).
B) Test every card that you buy (use the above tools).
C) Buy a brand that you trust (I recommend San Disk, Lexar, or PNY – all with limited lifetime warranty).
Best wishes,

Thank you for the info I was not aware that there were fake sd cards.
